Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Cloud Architect with a proven track record in designing and implementing high-scaling and high-availability infrastructure across Google Cloud Platform (GCP), AWS, and Azure. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of cloud technologies, architecture best practices, and a passion for delivering scalable and reliable solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Cloud Architecture Design:
   1. Design and implement highly scalable, secure, and resilient infrastructure solutions across GCP, AWS, and Azure to meet business needs.
   2. Develop multi-cloud and hybrid-cloud strategies based on application requirements and workloads.
2. Infrastructure and Application Scaling:
   1. Create architectures that support auto-scaling, load balancing, and fault tolerance to handle high-demand applications.
   2. Ensure seamless deployment and scalability of cloud-native and containerized applications.
3. High Availability and Disaster Recovery:
   1. Design architectures with a focus on high availability, redundancy, and disaster recovery.
   2. Implement failover strategies to minimize downtime and ensure business continuity.
4. Cost Optimization:
   1. Analyze and optimize cloud infrastructure to achieve cost efficiency without compromising performance.
   2. Monitor resource utilization and provide recommendations for reducing expenses.
5. Security and Compliance:
   1. Implement cloud security best practices, including access control, encryption, and compliance with industry standards (e.g., GDPR, ISO 27001).
   2. Conduct periodic audits to identify vulnerabilities and remediate them.
6. Collaboration and Team Leadership:
   1. Collaborate with development, DevOps, and operations teams to ensure smooth deployment and management of applications.
   2. Mentor and guide junior team members on cloud technologies and best practices.
7. Monitoring and Troubleshooting:
   1. Set up monitoring tools to track performance, identify bottlenecks, and troubleshoot issues in real-time.
   2. Use tools like CloudWatch, Stackdriver, Azure Monitor, or similar to maintain system health.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

1. Cloud Expertise:
   1. Strong experience with GCP, AWS, and Azure cloud platforms, with expertise in at least two of them.
   2. Proficiency in designing cloud-based microservices, serverless, and containerized architectures (e.g., Kubernetes, Docker).
2. Infrastructure Management:
   1. Hands-on experience with IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS solutions.
   2. Expertise in managing and provisioning infrastructure using IaC tools like Terraform, CloudFormation, or Deployment Manager.
3. Networking and Security:
   1. Knowledge of VPC design, firewalls, load balancers, and cloud networking.
   2. Familiarity with implementing cloud security protocols and managing identity and access management (IAM).
4. Database and Storage:
   1. Experience with managed databases (e.g., Cloud SQL, DynamoDB, Cosmos DB).
   2. Knowledge of storage solutions like S3, GCS, Azure Blob Storage, and their integration with applications.
5. Programming and Scripting:
   1. Proficiency in scripting languages like Python, PowerShell, or Bash.
   2. Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automation tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps).
6. Soft Skills:
   1. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
   2. Excellent communication skills for stakeholder interactions.
   3. Proven leadership experience in managing cross-functional teams.

Preferred Qualifications:

1. Certifications:
   1. AWS Certified Solutions Architect (Professional)
   2. Google Professional Cloud Architect
   3. Microsoft Azure Solutions Architect Expert
2. Knowledge of multi-cloud management tools and frameworks.
3. Experience with monitoring tools like Prometheus, Datadog, or ELK Stack.
